Get to Know Dan Meers

“For those who have watched Dan perform as KC Wolf, it’s easy to see that he is quite a character. For those of us who know the man inside the costume, it is obvious he is also a man of character. Hearing his incredible story will not only give you an appreciation for Dan Meers the mascot but, more importantly, for Dan Meers, the man behind the mask.”
— Tony Dungy, former NFL head coach

After 35 amazing years as the man behind KC Wolf, I’ve officially stepped back from my full-time mascot role with the Kansas City Chiefs. This new season of life is all about being a grandpa, a dad, and a friend—but here’s the good news: my passion for encouraging, inspiring, and connecting with audiences hasn’t changed a bit!

If you’re here because you’re interested in booking me to speak at your next event, I want you to know that I am still accepting speaking engagements—and, honestly, more excited than ever to share stories and life lessons from both inside and outside the fur.

Thank you for considering me for your event. I look forward to helping you make it memorable, meaningful, and maybe even a little bit fun!

With gratitude,
Dan Meers
